About the event

Dakesis Dakesis are a four piece Progressive Metal band from Birmingham, UK, with a reputation for electrifying showmanship, vast progressive storytelling and enough pomp and circumstance to bring a smile to even the dourest viewer.  2020 sees the release of their third full-length album “Fractures”, and an even more progressive musical landscape. The album release will be celebrated with a hometown launch party at the iconic Asylum Venue in the home of heavy metal, Birmingham UK.  Recorded at CapsaArx Studios and produced and mixed by Matt Jones, the album will once again be mastered by Svante Forsback of Chartmakers.  Album and merch pre-orders are available from www.dakesis.com/store OPENSIGHT Opensight was created to captivate and invade the imagination of listeners, by writing and performing heavy songs with motifs inspired by Genre Films, mainly of Thriller, Horror and Sci Fi flavours. Jackknife Seizure North London's Jackknife Seizure are not a band to put into a box easily. Their powerful, proggy grunge infused with heavy groove will appeal to fans of the likes of Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Sabbath, Tool and Mastodon alike. Having appeared on stages all over the capital and beyond, including Bloodstock's New Blood Stage, the band are ready to bring their blistering live set to all corners of the UK with their latest release 'Starfisher' - available now via Bandcamp!
